Terms of service
These terms apply when you buy from forgeandfyre.co.uk. Please read them before ordering — by placing an order you agree to them.
1. Who we are
This site is operated by Forge and Fyre Ltd, trading as Forge & Fyre, a private limited company registered in England and Wales.

We are not currently VAT registered, so no VAT is charged on our products and we cannot issue VAT invoices.
2. Ordering
When you place an order, you're making an offer to buy. We'll send an email acknowledging it — that acknowledgement is not acceptance. A contract is formed only when we email to confirm your order has been dispatched.
If we can't accept your order — because an item is out of stock, because we can't take payment, or because there's an error in the price or description — we'll let you know and refund anything you've paid in full.
You must be at least 18 to place an order.
3. Prices and payment
All prices are in pounds sterling (GBP) and exclude delivery, which is added at checkout and shown before you pay.
We try hard to keep prices accurate, but if we discover a genuine pricing error before dispatch we'll contact you to ask whether you want to proceed at the correct price or cancel. We won't simply charge you the higher amount.
Payment is taken at checkout through Shopify's payment providers. We don't store your card details.
4. Promotions and multi-buy offers
Promotional pricing — such as our 3 or more for £6 each offer — applies automatically at checkout when the conditions are met, and applies to eligible products only. Offers can be changed or withdrawn at any time, but changes never affect orders already placed. Where a return means an offer's conditions are no longer met, refunds are adjusted as set out in our Refund policy.
5. Our products
We make seasonings and rubs in small batches. Because they're natural products, colour, aroma and coarseness can vary slightly from batch to batch — that's normal, not a fault.
Product photographs are for illustration. We do our best to represent colours accurately, but screens differ.
6. Allergens and food information
Please read the product page before ordering if you have a food allergy or intolerance. Ingredient and allergen information for each blend is shown on its product page and printed on the jar label.
Our products are made in a kitchen that handles a range of spices and seasonings, so we cannot guarantee any product is entirely free from traces of other ingredients. If you have a severe allergy and you're unsure, please email us before ordering.
Always check the label on delivery, as recipes can be reformulated. If the label differs from what you expected, don't consume it — contact us and we'll refund or replace it.
7. Delivery
Delivery costs and timescales are set out in our Shipping policy. Goods become your responsibility once they're delivered to the address you gave us. Risk of loss or damage in transit stays with us until then.
8. Cancellation and returns
Your right to cancel, our returns window, and how refunds work are all set out in our Refund policy, which forms part of these terms.
9. Our liability
We don't limit or exclude our liability in any way where it would be unlawful to do so. That includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, and for breach of your legal rights in relation to the goods.
Subject to that, we're responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking this contract or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We aren't responsible for loss or damage that isn't foreseeable, or for losses arising from using our products in a business context, such as loss of profit or business interruption.
Our products are food. Use them sensibly, keep them out of reach of small children, and follow any storage guidance on the label.
10. Events outside our control
We're not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control. If one happens, we'll contact you as soon as we can and the delivery date will be extended. If the delay is substantial you can cancel and receive a refund for anything you've paid for but not received.
11. Your privacy
How we handle your personal data is explained in our Privacy policy.
12. Website use
The content of this site — including text, photography, logos and branding — belongs to Forge and Fyre Ltd or is licensed to us. You may not reproduce it commercially without our permission.
We may update or withdraw the site at any time. We don't guarantee it will always be available or uninterrupted.
13. Changes to these terms
We may amend these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your order is the one published on this site when you placed it.
14. Complaints and disputes
If something's gone wrong, email hello@forgeandfyre.co.uk and we'll try to put it right. You can also get free, independent advice from Citizens Advice.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes may be brought in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in the courts there.
